“C’mon Mikey,” Red’s voice is laced with something that Mike hasn’t heard before, not his usual taunting. Laughter laced with something fucked up. He doesn’t even sound tired even though they’ve been fighting for at least an hour. Mike watches Red, feeling the ache in his muscles, both from use and from the shocks Red has been sending through his body when he manages to land a punch. He’s trying to catch his breath.
